A directive to reinstate the "except Israel" clause in Bangladeshi passports has been issued.

This information was announced in a notification signed by Nilima Afroze, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Monday. 

The notification reads: “In view of the above, you are hereby requested to take necessary steps to reinstate the clause 'except Israel' in Bangladeshi passports, following due procedure, as was previously practiced.”
