  Job Context

  Reinsurance Department of a general insurance company deals with company's relationship and partnership with overseas and local reinsurers. So, a good command in English and MS Excel is a must for a reinsurance officer, who will get an international exposure from the very beginning of the career in Reinsurance Department.

   

  Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate with overseas and local reinsurers.

  • Communicate with foreign clients.

  • Prepare reinsurance summary.

  • Co-ordinate with other team members of the reinsurance department.

  • Preparing bordereaux for local reinsurers.

  • Complying to company's Underwriting/Reinsurance manual and guidelines.

  • Taking professional counsel on insurance & reinsurance from management.

  • Participating in the workshop/training relating to underwriting & reinsurance
